This used to be a blanket.

For the first few decades of its life, anyway.

We have a thing for things that are too good to disappear. We search for vintage blankets from the 60s, 70s and 80s, finding them one by one, from collectors and people who simply kept them all these years. They’re not easy to find anymore. And that’s part of what makes them special.

They’re made from a warm, strong polyacrylic fibre with a soft, wool-like feel. Made to last — and so they do. Back in our Amsterdam atelier, each piece is made individually from the blankets we find. No two are ever the same.
